Chairman: Yoshio Takemura

There is this photographic field which photographs are taken from a scientific view---from the micro to the macro world of animal photography, underwater photography, astrophotography, moment photography, etc.
Society of Scientific Photography (abbreviated as SSP) is a gathering of various people mainly consisted of professional and amateur photographers, who are interested in this field.
(SSP was established in 1978 and currently there are 400 members.) 

The photo exhibition held in Fuji Photograph Salon (once a year, held in Tokyo at June) and then exhibited in Osaka and Fukuoka (Fuji photograph salon), and after traveling such places like Kyoto and Miyazaki, it is finally exhibited in the Science Museum, Tokyo (about 100 photographs). Moreover, society news (B5-size, 48 color pages) is published twice a year as a place to exchange information among members and for announcements.
